I first came across Stoats about 8 years ago, when the famous Stoats Porridge Bar arrived at my high school for healthy eating day. I fondly remember I chose a raspberry and white chocolate porridge. From that first taste of Stoats, I have been hooked.
Fast forward to a few months ago, when I heard about the chance to work for Stoats, I was so excited about the prospect of travelling the length and breadth of the UK for summer events - taking 'porridge to the people'.
My passion in life is travelling. I think that’s why I studied International Relations at university. I love going to new places, meeting new people and getting to experience different ways of life. So when I heard that travelling was a huge part of the job at Stoats, I just had to get involved!
This summer, the Foodies Festivals will get the Stoats treatment. Brighton was the start of our eventful summer, with a further 15 events taking place across the UK. The Stoats team headed down to the south coast for the 3-day food extravaganza and despite the miserable weather there was a great turn out. Impressive!
Many people who stopped to say hi hadn’t heard of Stoats before so we were able to introduce people to our range of products and spread the porridge love. The feedback we received was amazing, everybody loved our Stoats porridge bars and the brand new Chipotle Chilli Oatcakes were a huge success!
With Brighton and Birmingham now under our belts we’re busy loading the van to head down south again to London for the Foodies Festival at Syon Park this weekend. Watch out Richmond!
