Berry Oaty Pancakes

What does Pancake Day mean for Stoats HQ?

Well, it's one of the rare days that we don't have porridge for breakfast. But do we go oatless? Certainly not. We pack our pancakes with oaty goodness and here's a simple and delicious recipe for you to do the same.

By substituting the flour for oats, we turn pancakes into a healthy dish. The oats provide fibre and complex carbs to help keep you fuller for longer with natural, slow release energy. We added berries for fruity goodness and a drizzle of honey and some grated chocolate to add a wow-factor to our morning.

1 cup of Our Unique Blend of Stoats Porridge

2 eggs

½ cup of milk

½ teaspoon of baking powder

Honey and berries for toppings

Blend oats until they’re flour like and mix the dry ingredients in a big bowl.

Mix eggs and milk together then slowly add them to the dry mixture, stirring the mixture when adding those wet ingredients.

Spray pan with non-stick oil (this helps for flipping!) and fry your pancakes until they are golden brown.

Serve with berries and honey on top. We've added grated chocolate for a little extra indulgence.
